The u17s select side edged out

Britwell well boys by 1-0.

The game was a very tight affair with the first half seeing Harefield having more of the chances and it was a superb run and shot by Jack Roberts that opened the scoring for the Hares.

Going in at half time 1-0 up was a relief as Britwell had several chances to draw level and Lee Willetts in the Harefield goal pulled off some great saves.

The second half was mainly Britwell pushing for the equaliser,and it nearly came when they were awarded a penalty. The penalty was saved by Lee and from then on Harefield were put under further pressure but even with tempers starting to rise and the ref finding 7 minutes of added time couldnt stop THE MIGHTY HARES LIFTING THE CUP !!!!!

CROCKS & CRYSTAL SEMI FINAL

HAREFIELD UTD 5 - 3 NEW WINDSOR

A team selected from our U17S 16S AND U15S have reached the final of the Crocks & Crystal cup.

Their opposition were a very strong New Windsor u17s side. The game was a very tight affair in the first half and it was windsor who took the lead.

The Temperture was more like a summers day and didnt help that the pitch was rock hard and controling the ball was a nightmare ( excuses over). Harefield started to take control as the game wore on and scored 5 goals with out an answer from Windsor.

The game seemed to be fading out but every credit to Windsor they keep going and scored 2 late goals to keep it interesting but Harefield came away with a worthy 5-3 victory, and await either PEN & TYLERS OR BRITWELL BOYS in the final.
