Final message from the Chairman Of Harefield United FC on the matter of completed games getting replayed.
The appeal against the Spartan South Midlands decision to replay the Edgware game has been exhausted. The 'gutless' FA have refused to accept the appeal and have put up barriers so it does not have to take responsibility for this major decision. The FA would rather hide and point the finger at SSM, which they have already done, which is the main problem with the FA at the moment, blaming others. Both FIFA and UEFA remain aloof.
For those still interested I attach my appeal so you can judge why I did this. For those who have sat on the sideline and sniped the lid is most definitely off the can of worms but fortunately, and for this I am pleased, not many clubs have jumped on the band wagon as most clubs have just walked away at the end of the game, moaning about the Ref of course.
The other frustration is the statement by FIFA, via their illustrious leader, a referee decision should be final and a game should be over at the final whistle!. Referees are only human and so make mistakes!! Easy to say now since they are the cause of all this.
